Butchers' player Philippe Longchamps from Québec, Canada raised his batting average to .400 by hitting a triple, a double, a single and got on base on an error once in 4 at bats. Furthermore, he got 3 RBI's and stole one base. All that in a 5 inning shut out game pitched by his teammate Mattias Stenis.

The Butchers crushed City 10-0 in 5 innings. Mattias Stenis pitched a complet game and struck out 7 batters. The turning point of the game came very early in the first inning. Stenis struck out the first batter and then gave up a walk to A. Nuñez. Then Tony Batista hit a line-drive single to center field. Stenis walked the next batter J. Cabrera and the bases were loaded with only one out. Then the Butchers turned a great 4-6-3 double play to put an end to the inning. Fredrik Hansson, P.O. Kajgård and Kim Thunell gave wings to their teammates with that inspiring defensive gem. Then leadoff hitter Philippe Longchamps hit a solid line-drive single over the 3rd baseman's head and stole 2nd base while Stenis was at bat. Fredrik Hansson followed with a walk and Tobias Andersson and Kristoffer Sjöberg followed with 2 consecutive singles. Tomas Börjes completed the 3 run inning with a double to right field. The Butchers added 2 runs in the 3rd inning. In the 4th, Kim Thunell and Philippe Longchamps hit 2 consecutive triples. Rättvik scored 4 more runs in the 5th inning, Tobias Andersson was hit by a pitch and the next 3 batters hit singles: Kristoffer Sjöberg, Tomas Börjes and Kim Thunell. The bases were loaded when Adam Villamo got a walk and an RBI for the 8th run of the game. Philippe Longchamps "egotistically" chose to swing with a 3 ball no strike count and missed a grand slam by a few meters. Adam reached third base and Philippe was granted a double. 2 runners scored and the game was called on the basis of the 10 run mercy rule.

All attempts to steal a base against Tomas Börjes failed. Every City player who tried was caught stealing.

Kristoffer Sjöberg played another incredible game. He went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and played like a pro at 3rd base.

Kim Thunell hit a triple and a single, scored 2 runs with 1 RBI. He also made 5 put-outs at first base.

City starter Tony Batista, 4 strike outs in 5 innings P. Borgstrand hit a double and a single in 2 at bats.

With 1 hit in 1 at bat, Tobias Andersson raised his batting average to .500 He was hit by a pitch for the 6th time this season. He got a sacrifice fly and 2 RBI's. T. Thunrarth lost the ball in the sun and gave a courtesy blooper hit to Kim Thunell in the 5th inning. The sun appeared suddenly through the clouds when Kim hit the ball. P.O. Kajgård played with a leg injury, but that's nothing to stop him. He played a great game at short-stop. He made a double play and got 2 assists.
Tomas Börjes  hit a double and got a single on a perfect bunt. Adam Villamo trying to imitate Tomas in the 4th inning. Fredrik Hansson reached the bases twice during the game.
Human target Tobias Andersson has 46% of the team's hit by pitches P.O. Kajgård coaching Fredrik Hansson at third base. 7 Strike outs for Mattias Stenis in 5 innings and gave up only 3 hits.
Joakim Persson warming up to come in as a closer for Stenis. P. Borgstrand played a great game at third base despite 1 error. Marcus Glad is confident to see his team do better in the second half.

Darin O'Connor presented the "Dalaridå MVP Dalahäst" to City's Cuban player Tony Batista.
MVP Tony Batista hit .500 for the game and got 4 strike outs as a pitcher. Honorable mention to P. Borgstrand who went 2 for 2 against Mattias Stenis, with a double and a single.
A. Nuñez from Nicaragua played shortstop very well. He had 2 assists and 2 put-outs. He was the only City player to reach 3rd base during the game City's coach P. Granqvist is saying thanks to the audience for their patience after the game.
